Something
about me…
My name is
Loreto Tenorio Pangui. I was born in Valdivia on a spring day in November. My
mother’s name is Nancy and my father’s name is Victor.
I studied
Anthropology in Valdivia. I remember the cold, the rain, the river and the big
green trees around my college. I also remember the evenings of study in the
library and the beautiful friendships that I made there.
Now I’m live
in Santiago and study a Masters in Gender and Culture at the University of
Chile. The study of gender has been a great discovery for me. I'm not afraid to
define myself as a feminist. I keep a profound hope that one day men and women
inhabit a better world, where more freedom for everyone there.
There are
things that I love in this life and others less so. I like the autumn and rain.
I like walking down the street warm. I always like to give a coin to the
musicians that are uploaded to the bus. I like the people I love are happy.
I do not like
action movies, or injustice, or people who think morally superior to the other.
I do not like when there is no internet.
Hello Loreto. I know Valdivia and i think that is a very beautiful and poetic city. His streets, and the river market is a memorable places. I have a lot of friends of this university, they are very good person and professional too.
ReplyDeleteI think the gender theory is a mighty tool to undertand and transform the reality, specially in a power distribution.
Much success with your master!
